I recently received my February Fix and it’s time to share the review and outfits with you!
This post contains affiliate links, as well as my Stitch Fix referral link. I earn a small commission each time someone signs up for Stitch Fix or makes a purchase with one of the links, which helps to support the blog.
But First, What is Stitch Fix
If you already know, then scroll on down… OK, for those that are not acquainted with Stitch Fix, it’s a clothing and styling subscription service. You can choose to receive a box monthly or schedule on demand. When you initially sign up, an in-depth survey asks you about your clothing & shoe size, personal style and price preferences, creating your personal Style Profile. You can edit your profile anytime.
Your Stylist, assisted by sophisticated algorithms, handpicks five items based on your preferences within the survey and other channels – I will touch on this in a moment. The fee for this service is $25, and includes free shipping, as well as free returns.
- If you keep any of the items, the $25 fee is deducted from the total.
- And if you keep ALL five items, you will also receive a 25% discount!
Right now you can sign-up with with Stitch Fix and get your first $25 Styling Fee waived!
My February Items
February in Texas is a confusing month weather-wise. The temps fluctuate between balmy spring-like weather to freezing cold winter weather. So for February’s Fix, I requested warm tops, jeans and a casual blazer that I could layer with a tee. And my Stylist delivered!
Skies are Blue Kaulin Button Down Blouse
When I peeked at this blouse online (which you can do after you receive your shipping notification), I wasn’t sure if I liked it. Once I put in on, I loved it. So, I want to stress the importance of trying everything on before deciding if you like it.
The blouse is navy, pink and white. Three colors that I love! And the floral print is feminine and flirty. It paired perfectly with my J.Crew navy flutter skirt. I finished the ensemble with my new Steve Madden platform sandals and viola, I am ready for spring! This one is a keeper.

Cosmic Blue Love Adrianne Distressed Boyfriend Jean & Skies are Blue Brinley Boyfriend Blazer
I combined the boyfriend jeans and boyfriend blazer to make a “Boyfriend Outfit” so to speak. I added my Tory Burch leopard flats for a pop of drama.
I’m always on the lookout for quality boyfriend jeans and I really like these from Cosmic Blue Love. They deliver both style and comfort. I have several pairs of darker denim boyfriend jeans hanging in my closet, which makes keeping the lighter denim an easy decision. Keeping.
I thought the Brinley Boyfriend Blazer would be a smart pair with the jeans. The blazer is dark charcoal and I love that it has pockets. Can a mom ever have enough pockets? It’s tailored in a manner that allows you to dress it up or down. This a perfect transitional piece for my closet. Yep, I’m keeping it.

Good hYOUman Bethy Cowl Neck Knit Top & Sperry Crest Vibe Washable Leather Barrel Lace Sneaker
I kept the jeans on for the next outfit too. They work well with the Bethy Cowl Neck Top but I can see myself wearing leggings more often than not with this cute top. It’s a muted mauve color and the material is so soft and cozy. It’s perfect for lazy snuggle days around the house or running errands and chauffeuring my kids to school and activities. I am keeping the top as well.
I also wore the Sperry sneakers with this getup. The sneakers are taupe with a grey undertone to them. The laces are super cute and give great character to the shoe. See…
The problem is that I already own a similar gray pair of TOM’s purchased from a previous Fix. This is when the 25% discount comes into play.
As you can see in the figures below, the total cost is LESS if I KEEP the sneakers. With the discount, my subtotal is $282.75. If I returned the shoes, the subtotal would be $302. That’s a $19.25 savings. And once tax is calculated & added to the $302 subtotal, I’m saving even more.
So it just makes financial to keep them, plus I really like them.
Here’s a tip for you. If you do not like a piece but you save money by keeping it, you can always sell it on Poshmark or other sites. I’ve done this several times now.
